The Clinic is staffed by Dr Gary Barsch, Dr Terri Readdy, and
Dr Norman Pinfold.
Dr Barsch graduated from Texas A&M University, and moved to
Florida shortly thereafter, where he has
gone native. He is APHIS accredited and has special
interests in surgery and especially orthopedics. He enjoys
serving the Tampa Police Department K-9s and also does work
for the Southeastern Guide Dogs. He works with the St
Francis Society and numerous other organizations to try and help
alleviate the suffering of animals.
Dr Terri Readdy got her B.S. in biotechnology from Rochester
Institute of Technology & spent 9 years as a research scientist in protein
membrane biochemistry, natural insecticides, genetics &
microbiology before returning to school to earn her DVM from Mississippi State
in 1999. She enjoys canine & feline
medicine & has extensive advanced training and experience in avian &
exotic animal medicine & surgery.
She is a member of Association of Avian Veterinarians, Association of
Reptile & Amphibian Veterinarians, Association of Exotic Small Mammal Veterinarians
and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She volunteers her time with wildlife work,
prairie dog rescue, House Rabbit Society & the St
Francis Society
Dr Pinfold has worked in the area for many years and is
semiretired after owning his own hospital for many years, but has
found that he cant leave the profession that he still enjoys.
We are glad to have his experience to draw on and are glad for the
time he puts into the clinic.
